Bring your own rod or borrow one of ours. Go out on a fishing charter from Oakura, fish off the rocks (the couple holding the snapper in the sunset caught them off the rocks at Rawhiti), spear a flounder in the harbour or catch an eel in the creek.

There is no meal any tastier than the fish you catch yourself!
